이 책은 크게 감정평가론의 기초, 부동산감정평가의 이해, 감정평가방식, 감정평가활동의 4편으로 구성되어 있다. 제1편 감정평가론의 기초에서는 감정평가의 개요와 감정평가론의 개요로 구분하여 감정평가의 기초내용을 정리하였고, 제2편 부동산감정평가의 이해에서는 부동산과 부동산권리, 부동산관련 이론, 부동산시장, 부동산의 가치이론 등 4개의 장에서 부동산감정평가에 필요한 내용을 설명하였다. 제3편 감정평가방식에서는 감정평가방식을 비교방식, 원가방식, 수익방식으로 구분하여 설명하였으며, 제4편 감정평가활동에서는 감정평가의 절차, 감정평가서 등 2개의 장으로 감정평가활동의 내용을 정리하였다.
