도서소개
세상은 거대한 전환의 시대를 맞이하고 있다. 교육은 혁신과 정치 사이에서 갈팡질팡하고, 복지는 여전히 사각지대를 남긴 채 방치되고 있다. 국제정세는 하루가 다르게 요동치고, 행정은 국민을 향하기보다 형식에 매몰되는 경우가 많다. 변화는 거세지만 그 변화의 한가운데서 정작 주인공이 되어야 할 시민의 삶은 여전히 뒷전으로 밀려나 있다.
이 책은 그 불편한 현실을 외면하지 않고 기록하려는 시도이다. 교육 편에서는 입시와 대학의 위기, 학폭 대책의 공허함을 다루었고, 복지 편에서는 저출생과 청년 고용, 노동권의 붕괴와 같은 구조적 문제를 짚었다. 정치・안보 편에서는 권력과 제도의 본질을 묻고, 국가의 방향을 향해 질문을 던졌다. 행정・기타 편에서는 제도와 현장의 괴리를 드러내며, 책임 있는 변화를 요구했다.
